I’m a major snacker and I’m not afraid to show it! Usually people mention they love snacking with a guilty look in their eyes and somehow excusing themselves for such blasphemy. Snacks are evil, that’s a no-brainer, right? Well…not quite!
Snacks are a crucial part of a healthy diet and a must for everyone who’s looking for a good balance. You should definitely have 2 snacks in between meals; the way I do it?: fruit in the morning, something more consistent in the afternoon. So, the problem is not so much with snacking itself, it’s more about what are we snacking on. Be thoughtful about this and always choose the apple over the candy and the nuts over the chips.
Working from home today, this was my afternoon snack: a kiwi and a handful of (unsalted) cashews. Happy snacking, everyone!
